In preparation for the Walk for the Wild 5K in April, I see an opportunity to engage participants while showcasing both the conservation work of the Houston Zoo and the species protected through its support.

The goal of this project is to create resources to be handed out at the 5k that remind participants why they’re supporting the Houston Zoo, highlight the animals that they are protecting, and connect their effort directly to wildlife impact.

The animals highlighted were chosen from North American species to make the conservation impact local and personal.
